YUKI IS KIND OF A BIG JERKFACE. >( She tried to be nice and he obviously didn't want any of it, so she has been left with a really bad impression of him. And when he tried to convince her that she shouldn't like Ruka (that was how it came off to her) she was really pissed off. I am perfectly capable of decided who I think is a good person and who isn't okay! SHE THINKS RUKA IS THE GOOD TWIN, BASICALLY.

So she'll avoid talking to him because she doesn't want to deal with him, but if they are forced together she'll try to be civil for a little before she snaps. Also Ruka mentioned that Yuki is a telepath too so she might be thinking MEAN THOUGHTS at Yuki if he gets too close. XD

I don't remember the exact threads, but it started with her mistaking him for Ruka. That gave her a really bad impression to work past, and... she didn't! She said a lot of stubbornly friendly things that struck him as being really DUMB, unsafe, and rude to the grumpy people. And that annoyed him! Because he knows other stubbornly friendly people and so that got him going no! no you're doing it wrong!! YOU ARE NOT KAZUKI, STOP TRYING. And because most of that was re: Ruka, it annoyed him even more. He's sometimes very defensive of Ruka, and someone flat-out ignoring the fact that Ruka's dangerous or misinterpreting his personality can irritate him. If you're going to be friends with Ruka, be friends with who he actually is, not who you THINK he is!

SO MOSTLY HE THINKS THAT MACHIKA IS NAIVE, STUBBORN, AND IS GOING TO DIE ONE DAY FOR SAYING SOMETHING STUPID TO A PSYCHOPATH.

oh and he'll be avoiding her as well, but we should force them into threads anyways. I LOVE HIS ANTAGONISTIC RELATIONSHIPS.

This. Is terrifyingly accurate.

The thing is that Machika deals with her psychopaths in this manner AND IT WORKS JUST FINE (sort of. it's up for debate). And while Ruka hasn't done anything to be categorized as crazy she kind of gets that from his attitude anyways--and even if she blew Yuki off she did take what he said into consideration because he probably knows Ruka better than her. But she deals with her cranky psychopaths by putting her trust in them. So unless Ruka does something to completely screw shit up, Machika thinks he's okay! And I'd have to say the thing that pissed Machika off the MOST about Yuki was the "Ruka is a crazy murderer" stuff, so...I feel like they're both mad for the same reason, but from different angles. And then it just progressed into something ridiculous.

tl;dr Yuki is entirely accurate in his perception of her and she will never cop to it. I love everything about their antagonism and I agree about forced threading! THREADING ANGRY THREADS IS ALWAYS FUN.
