Brianna/the Breeze: Coolest little superhero~ Although Machika knows she's not a real real superhero, it's cool that she has superpowers and Machika feels like if she calls Breeze a superhero, she'll understand that she's supposed to use her powers for good without Machika actually having to say anything to prompt that. :|b Hopefully. After their conversation about home Machika kind of feels more connected to Breeze--she had empathy for her! They are both lacking family in their lives and just have their friends, so they gotta look out for each other! Breeze also seems like the energetic type, like Machika, so she thinks they could do fun shenanigans together to keep each other occupied.

Taiga: Taiga was kind of in that "friend of a friend" stage, because they both mutually know Alice and didn't really have anything besides their mutual height disparity going for them. But then she helped out when Machika was tiny and dumb and was an irresponsible role model at her and now Machika is kind of tentatively thinking of Taiga as a friend! Or at least the tiniest babysitter. Love goo also kind of prompted Machika to view her in a positive light, so even after it wore off she was like "Okay, she's kind of annoying, but I know she's not all bad." Otherwise there probably would have been more yelling and less of an attempt to understand. But I think there was yelling too still. I forget. So. Awkward not!friendship stage?

And now I am going to be unimaginative and ask for reverse!

Brianna thought Machika was nice when they first talked, but she didn't feel any real connection to her. When they talked the second time, though, she got to hear awesome stories about how Machika broke out of prison on an airship and stuff! 8D So now Machika is Officially Cool. She also made her feel better about not being a ~real~ superhero! At home Brianna is kind of. Not discouraged because people need her/her powers, but people mostly just tolerate her superhero name and her attitude. So when Machika was like, "Hey, you can be a superhero just by doing good things!" it made her feel happy and validated. And now that she knows Machika doesn't have a family anymore either, she'll be popping up more often to bug her.

Taiga... haha. WELL, she's definitely a person who tends to act based on her very first impressions of people, and the very first thing Machika said to her was "They're just puddles, don't be a baby," so Taiga has always felt defensive around her, and of course defensive Taiga = bitchy Taiga. But she's past the point of disliking Machika, so she's slooowly getting to the point of being friendly to her. The love goo and deaging helped, because Taiga got to see a sweeter side of Machika, so she just needs time to stop being defensive and weird around her when she's not gay/four years old. SHE'LL COME AROUND.

uhm i think i can do more detail than that if i think about it.

Overall Machika loves Rain superduperalot. Because it's Rain, and Rain is what she's living for! And there's really nothing that will change that ever. And inside she is actually really excited about staying in camp forever because time does not move and that means I can stay with Rain forever. But at the same time Camp is kind of...eh...because Rain does not remember things he should remember and that bugs her a lot. Which was part of why she wanted to go on the date, to make up for him not remembering the amusement park. She wants them to be on the same page, and if he has memory loss it feels like they're not! And apparently Camp has been making Rain kiss Other People and that's not cool either. So she loves Rain, but the things about Camp that have affected Rain she likes less so, because they annoy her.

YES. It's very different though, Rain super loved Freya but he had absolutely no selfish feelings with her, he was perfectly fine with watching her from a distance and sending her off to be a nun with Yuca. Whereas Machika is the only person Rain is selfish about, he wants to be with her even though he thinks it'd be better for her not to, and he wants to kiss her and hold hands and .//////. he is super in love with her, it's ridiculous and derpy.

Hahaha Ion is so fun. Machika really likes him! He was the first person to help her in Camp and he's all proper and knightly, but he also does flaily things that are funny. She knows that she can rely on him and thinks of him as a good friend. And the fact that he helped when she was deaged cemented her trust in him even more, because he could have just left her for someone else to deal with and he didn't. They both seem to have the same ideals, too, which makes it easy to get along with him. The whole "you're a Methuselah" hasn't really occurred to her beyond when he brings it up, because there haven't been any situations where she needs to think about it (besides the fact that she only sees him at night). And she totally thinks she could take him in a fight because he's tiny.

Ion likes Machika a lot--she makes more sense to him than a lot of people. He's pretty straight forward, and and she comes across and bold and direct, and like what you see with her is what you get. She's definitely a friend in his mind, and someone he respects.

They should continue hanging out and, I don't know, being adorable and blond together.

YUKI IS KIND OF A BIG JERKFACE. >( She tried to be nice and he obviously didn't want any of it, so she has been left with a really bad impression of him. And when he tried to convince her that she shouldn't like Ruka (that was how it came off to her) she was really pissed off. I am perfectly capable of decided who I think is a good person and who isn't okay! SHE THINKS RUKA IS THE GOOD TWIN, BASICALLY.

So she'll avoid talking to him because she doesn't want to deal with him, but if they are forced together she'll try to be civil for a little before she snaps. Also Ruka mentioned that Yuki is a telepath too so she might be thinking MEAN THOUGHTS at Yuki if he gets too close. XD

I don't remember the exact threads, but it started with her mistaking him for Ruka. That gave her a really bad impression to work past, and... she didn't! She said a lot of stubbornly friendly things that struck him as being really DUMB, unsafe, and rude to the grumpy people. And that annoyed him! Because he knows other stubbornly friendly people and so that got him going no! no you're doing it wrong!! YOU ARE NOT KAZUKI, STOP TRYING. And because most of that was re: Ruka, it annoyed him even more. He's sometimes very defensive of Ruka, and someone flat-out ignoring the fact that Ruka's dangerous or misinterpreting his personality can irritate him. If you're going to be friends with Ruka, be friends with who he actually is, not who you THINK he is!

SO MOSTLY HE THINKS THAT MACHIKA IS NAIVE, STUBBORN, AND IS GOING TO DIE ONE DAY FOR SAYING SOMETHING STUPID TO A PSYCHOPATH.

Hmmm. Operation: Immortal Rehab is kind of failing miserably because YOU'RE NOT TRYING HARD ENOUGH. When Yuca went and shot a person it was like, major step backwards in her mind. But afterwords he wasn't being as dumb about it as she thought he would be--but then she was like "why did he even shoot the guy in the first place?!" It still doesn't make sense to her and it STILL bothers her. Because she wants to try and understand so that she can help, but if you don't tell me I can't help you!! He hasn't done anything else like that (that she knows of) so for now it's fine, but she won't let him get away with it again!

Still fixing your immortality when I figure out how to fix immortality I'LL FIGURE IT OUT EVENTUALLY OKAY. I kind of imagine a chunk of her days are now spent wandering around the library pulling random books off the shelves and looking for things about immortality in them. Asking people didn't seem to get anywhere and while she didn't expect miracles, it was still kind of discouraging. She's trying to be positive about it but the longer she stays here and doesn't get any leads the more it bugs her. At the same time, that's not really bad, because Camp has weird time things and she wouldn't mind leaving things as they are because then she can just stay forever with Rain and that works too. BUT. That doesn't fix Yuca's problem because he just wants to die. So many problems and no way to fix them.

Normal person! Jesse is very...how does one put it...you know what, I don't even know. He is blunt and snarky and all of those other things that makes him an interesting person to talk to. He knows lots of stuff about this world! And that's interesting and helpful. It's cool that he has something he's passionate about because Machika understands being passionate about something! It's good! And she always likes to hear that Vanya has friends who like music, because Machika knows nothing about music besides that it's pretty and you can help her with that. In regards to having Jesse know how to fight she was like "...do I really want to enable a non-fight to fight" which was why the whip-thing was good, because it's non-lethal. She wants Jesse to be able to have a normal life; being in camp shouldn't make him a fighter! So if there's trouble brewing she might seek him out to make sure he's okay, along with the other non-fighters she knows. SHE WILL DO ALL THE FIGHTING FOR YOU GUYS, OKAY!

THE WORST

Okay actually now that I have skimmed threads, Cindy is not that bad. Kind of an enabler, but that's not bad because Machika is bound to do dumb things anyways! Cindy is also a nice adult to talk to. With people her age it's different because Machika feels like she has to be the strong one, but with Cindy Machika doesn't have to be in control of everything. So Machika can vent to Cindy and bounce things off of her and just talk to her as an adult person. The only adult Machika has in canon is like...Rain. And really does he count as an adult. So if Machika feels frustrated and wants to break down, Cindy is probably the first person she'll go to because she thinks Cindy can handle it.

And Machika just likes talking to Cindy in general, even if they have different opinions on things, because Cindy challenges that and makes her think about why she believes in what she does and it helps cement her as a person. Helping out when Machika was deaged was really good, too, because you did not let the small dumb child run off into someone's white van or something. Machika thinks you are super responsible awesome adult, Cindy!

No joke, I tried to do the sex meme 3 times and every time SOMETHING WENT WRONG. So I fail at HTML, hit the backspace button too many times on accident, can't label a post without half of it disappearing, and took it as a sign that I should put horrible things off until a later time. But eventually I will do it.

As for relationships! I don't think much has changed except that Machika is kind of like "...your life is hard." Like, she understands the things he's been telling her about his life, but it doesn't change the relationship that she has with him beyond that she's learning more about him. He's a clone, he has the mind of a small child, prophecies ruin his life, but most importantly he is still Luke so everything is fine! Except that your life is hard, wow. Thinking about it more, she probably has more respect for him now that she knows his life is difficult and he still has the personality that he does. But that won't really show because she'll still treat him like she always has, because it's just fun to talk to Luke like that.

...Who else do you play that I talk to, I know it can't just be Luke.

Okay, in all seriousness Machika loev Alice. They get into fun dumb shenanigans together and can keep each other company super easy and just everything about Alice is amazing. Machika wants to help Alice with everything she can forever because Alice deserves a happy ending! And she knows Alice has self-esteem issues and she wants to talk to somebody about it because Machika doesn't know how you help someone like that! LET ME HELP YOU BE A SHINING STAR, ALICE. And Alice was another person who helped tiny Machika, and Machika feels SUPER GRATEFUL to the people who helped her out when she was like that because she felt super vulnerable as a tiny child in Camp. I did not even have a scythe to wail on people with or anything, I don't even know what I would have done without you guys--! D: She's still kind of mortified by it and deals with it by just not thinking about how horribly things could have gone wrong lol.
