She doesn't really hate Ema, it's just that she thinks she's a terrible QUITTER and a JERK and CRANKY all of those things that lead to hate. Also she thinks Ema is ridiculously irresponsible and JEEZ JUST STUDY IF YOU WANNA PASS YOUR DUMB TEST.

Does Ema have thoughts on Machika besides mutual dislike???

Kind of a weirdo, but at least he's honest! She likes honesty, so even if it's not something she agrees with she can admire that in him. It's cool that he stays in shape and he's probably one of the few people she'd ask to spar with if she got really bored. But seriously, don't go around killing people for no reason. :|

Machika really likes Alice! She's fun to talk to and hang out with, and Alice helped her get used to things because Rain doesn't explain anything, ugh. Since they got to camp around the same time she feels like Alice is in the same boat as her, too. After meeting all of the weird people/things in camp, Machika is sort of glad for normal people like Alice. Also it's fun that you know Eury and can badger him to not be cranky so that I don't have to. :D If you ever get into trouble, I GOT YOUR BACK.

NOW TELL ME THINGS BACK unless you are going to put up your own thing so I can do it there.

I'LL JUST RAMBLE ABOUT SOMETHING ELSE THERE.

Alice likes Machika a lot too! Machika is effectively helping Alice fill the void of her sisters who, while she complains about them and suffers from an inferiority complex, she misses terribly. She sees Machika as adorable, witty, and well-meaning. Machika doesn’t pry or be too pushy, which Alice appreciates, and Machika will often talk to her without Alice starting a conversation or some kind of camp forcing her to do so. This is a big deal for Alice because that means she isn’t bothering her. Of course, Alice, being the cynical and forever unhappy person that she is, can't help but worry about things like Machika's older boyfriend and the scythe Machika has. It doesn't help that Eury told her about the time he got kidnapped. She was all "Eury so cool~" and clapping at the time, but in reality, it scared her. She knew he was pirate and that Machika did something she would consider dangerous, but she had no idea it was that bad. It's something she's always got at the back of her mind when talking to them.

WE SHOULD TOTES BADGER EURY TOGETHER. Or do some kind of joint post thingy where we ask everyone about immortality and memory loss because Alice and Machika would be a great investigative tag-team. Or whatever. I just like their threads even if I am a horrible person who drops them.

Both Cindy and Disney-Cinderella!

[sob, I will respond to everything when LJ decides it enjoys me talking with a Disney Princess again.]

On Cindy! Machika likes her and enjoys doing things with her. Cindy is sort of like a proper adult figure? MACHIKA GETS TAUGHT STUFF like things about high heels and boys lol. She's very down-to-earth and appears to be pretty frank when she's explaining things to Machika. Also she likes animals and helped pick out a kitten! Which just kind of endeared her to Machika a little more.

On Cinderella! Machika has not made the connection that it is Cindy, since everyone else who has been changed still looks the same. It is completely and utterly magical that they are now fake!sisters for the week and Machika kind of loves Cinderella a lot. She is SUPER SWEET and is way too positive about everything but Machika just gets swept up in the Disney Magic. Machika has officially been topped by the Disney Princess, GOOD JOB.

Cindy: Thinks all fifteen-year old girls should learn to kick people in the head like Machika. Seriously, she wishes she was that kick-ass and independent when she was that age. Cindy admires Machika for having goals, even though they revolve around her paedo-boyfriend. Her determination is amazing--it's her mission that Cindy will never understand because most Fables don't want to die. But she's not interfering with that issue because immortality isn't for everyone.

Like the Disney version, Cindy never had real siblings, so Machika does fall in the almost-sister category of Camp friends. She is more open with Machika because she is slowly growing to trust her by degrees.

Cindy has met the paedo-boyfriend once briefly, but she's pretty sure that Machika can probably top him. Or kick him in the head. It's just that relationships between immortals and people with normal lifespans don't always end well--BE CAREFUL, MINI-ME! But Cindy knows she's not the best person to talk to about relationships, so she's not dispensing any advice.

Disney-Cinderella: Thinks Machika is a wonderfully strong and adorable young lady. She loves having a pretend-sister because Machika is so nice and not like the Step-Sisters at all! She didn't have much in the way of human friends back at home even before marrying the Prince, so she's making up for lost time. And yeah, Disney princesses tend to top.

It's going to be terrible when she goes back, isn't it?

So, Machika on Ys. Talk to me about canon developments and her thoughts/plans.

YOU LOVE MY BOYFRIEND, DON'T DENY IT.

He is a little pain, but he's getting better!! She can talk to him normally and do things with him and boss him into stuff without him blowing things up or trying to push her off a building, so this is progress. There are things she WANTS to talk about, but she won't bring them up until they've had some more time together because she wants to make sure he's ready to talk about it. Whenever she tries now they just end up arguing, and ugggggh she doesn't want that right now when they just found him again. So just doing things with him is kind of a part of the plan! Doing normal fun things and not having him be an angry human-hating sourpuss is kind of a part of Machika's plan, I guess. It's like rehab for immortals or something.

EVENTUALLY I want to do a post where she is asking people in camp if they know how to fix immortality, just because it's something she's already planning on doing. There are people here from different worlds and stuff!!! SOMEBODY has to know SOMETHING about it! And she talked to Leto who is an Oracle which must mean he's smart and he said that they'd figure it out eventually (or that's what she got out of it).

Basically there wasn't much of a plan besides "let's find Yuca", and now that they found him and he doesn't know how to fix Rain/won't fix Rain, Machika is sort of floundering. YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO HAVE ALL THE ANSWERS GDI. And now instead of one immortal to fix, there are two.

OH YEAH we're fixing your immortality too, did I already tell you that?

And, lol, fixing immortality . . . Ys had a huge blow-up at Rain about that. He will probably flip a table and just raise hell in response. That is not an issue he wants to bring up ever at all. (Which means you totally should, just saying.) At this rate, we should have an answer on if it is fixable in . . . May? Yeah, around there.

The rehab is hilariously discrete, too!! Like he can kind of tell, but he has to sit there and be nice around her. And he does like her, ugh. But he just wants to hang since he can't face Rain anymore at all. Life sucks, life sucks, life super sucks! So . . . It's kind of working and he's letting her. Plus, he's been waiting to just hang with people and be normal even before Machika came, so she has EXCELLENT timing.

Yeah, Machika likes Noel! Your friend is kind of super grumpy, but that's not your fault. Growing up in a school sounds weird and is something she can't really wrap her head around, but if you like school then it must work for you. :/a Noel was a poor little newcomer like Machika was not a month ago, so she felt like she wanted to help out if she could. And Noel kept telling her how nice she was which kind of confirmed that Machika wasn't messing up and boosted her ego about helping people out, so it's good! Machika will probably be checking up on you to make sure your grumpy friend did not kill you in your sleep.

Does Noel have thoughts on Machika at all?

VANYAAAA ♥♥♥

Machika loves Vanya! She can tell the poor girl has no confidence and wants to try and fix that because you are a special little snowflake and you can't let anyone else tell you otherwise!!! Machika does not like seeing people be down on themselves but since Vanya is not older she can't yell it away like she otherwise would. So boosting her confidence every other way that she can works! Doing things with her and giving her POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT seems to do the trick. And she can tell that the pirate crew + Robin are helping with that too, so she's not overly concerned. But it's nice to see Vanya smile and be a normal happy little girl, especially since from what she's gathered Vanya's life before camp was not that great. It's also nice that she can do fun things with her like feed cows and play with animals and listen to her play the violin! YOU ARE MAGICAL AT PLAYING THE VIOLIN compared to Rain. So she loves listening to it. :)

On Toboe! He is a wolf that is fuzzy and can get pets! She is missing her Kiki quite a bit now so she is coping by playing with the other animals in camp. Toboe is smarter than Kiki, but he still has that simplicity about him that she likes. It's the little things he says, like calling her ice skates "claws" and saying it looks like she's flying across the ice--she likes all of that. If she seems him around she will make a point to talk to him because she thinks he is adorable. :)

On Zero! I am pretty sure Machika does not actually know his name, LOL IT NEVER CAME UP IN CONVERSATION? But he's kinda cool. His job is like a bounty hunter's, so she kind of thinks of him as someone in her field. He's that frowny type that opens up if you keep up conversation, so she kept it up! People like you don't have enough friends, so she wants to be his friend if at all possible haha. The stuff that's going down now is kind of weirding her out, though. HE'S KIND OF...NORMAL? Which was not the impression she got upon their first meeting. He's talking about his horse and has yet to bring up vampires or anything like that. Were she smarter she would realize that he's gone AU like at least 3 other people she knows, but it has not yet occurred to her. XD

Leto! Was super helpful! Most people have no idea what to do about fixing immortality, but Leto offered some friendly advice and was overall fairly encouraging. Because he knows Rain and Yuca and something of their situation, she felt like she could open up to him about the issue and he was willing to help her out, which puts him at the top of her list! He gave Rain a funny adorable nickname AND gave Machika one too! She has no idea why he picked that name but thinks it's sweet that he even gave her a nickname to begin with. He was also encouraging about Yuca being a little prick, which was kind of what she needed at that point. She got the feeling that she made him feel a little better too, but she's not QUITE sure how. AS LONG AS YOU'RE HAPPY. Also she totally thinks he is like a superhero in his world. 8D

Cara! Is being a prick about her being a bounty hunter and that is Not Cool. Picking on Machika is KIND OF understandable and even if she doesn't like it, she can accept the fact that she is kind of short and young and most people will give her funny looks when she says she's a bounty hunter. She can huff over that and deal with it. But you DON'T make fun of grandfather. :(

Haruki! Is kind of...adorable?! He's super polite to her and makes funny faces when she does nice things for him and it's funny. He doesn't seem to get what being a kid means, though; you are supposed to eat junk food and not look so serious, okay. She doesn't notice when she's pushing herself onto people--IT IS JUST A THING THAT HAPPENS. So she took it upon herself to help Haruki out without really giving it any thought. During their conversation he was fairly honest with things, even when it came to saying it was something he didn't want to talk about. She likes that honesty but also feels like SOMEONE better help him out with that because it's obviously upsetting him. And there's this whole issue of him not eating enough, but the mother hen seems to have that covered so she doesn't need to worry about that. BASICALLY she wants to do antics with him to make him act like a normal kid even though that plan is doomed to fail. \o/

HAHAHA yes she thinks Jin is kind of grumpy. Not really MEAN, actually, since he didn't do anything to be overly terrible, but she thinks he REALLY needs to learn how to be nicer to people. 8| So basically he was indeed a douche but he did it in such a manner that she couldn't really yell at him for it.

And if she sees you bullying Noel she will kick your ass.

FUTURE ANTICS WOULD BE FUN! I super encourage them, especially if they involve Machika ~showing him how to be nice to people~ or yelling matches. Those are really the only two options I see in this future and I approve of them both.
